Imagine streets full of women wearing dresses, colourful scarfes and bowler hats, sitting on both sides of the sidewalk, carrying their small children and selling all kinds of fruit and vegetables. Busses, cars and taxis are fighting their way through the narrow streets which go up and down in curves. Mountains glisten nearby under the blue sky. This is La Paz.
I can feel the altitude, somewhat more than Eirik. It is difficult to put the finger on what exactly is the difference, it is more a general feeling of slowliness. But considering that we swam in the ocean yesterday we are coping splendidly. And we haven´t lost our appetite!

jeg har vært inne og sett på La Paz på Google Earth. Fantastisk! Alle bildene som er lagt ut viser et hekt annet bilde av byen enn det jeg hadde forestilt meg. Fantastiske bygninger, gater og torg. Forstår godt at dere er fasinert. Ønsker dere fortsatt fine opplevelser i La Paz
