Miami day 2

The news are currently covering the severe weather in Florida. We were taking a swim in the meantime, since the hurricane "Faye" already had passed us. It should therefore not be any issues with our flight tonight. The public transport system in Miami is better than we feared, but that does not mean that it is good. They accepted neither italian lire, outdated Swedish/Norwegian ore or other other outdated currency. Anita had to give up her attempt to get rid of her currency reserve. A collect on the bus helped us out to pay the fee, as they did not change 20's. People here are friendly. Eirik is sunburned and has got blisters on the sole of his feet from walking barefoot on the scalding boardwalk. Hiking boots and wool socks are not a perfect match for 34 degrees Celclius.

After some testing, we are can now give our contact number for text messages. Our satellite number is +881631639222. It will cost you an arm and a leg to call the number, but can be texted for free here: http://messaging.iridium.com/

Terrible, but fun photo. We barely saved the camera from the wave seen on the left hand side.

This picture is for Markus

At last: We do appreciate comments...........
